Lackadaisy, by Tracy Butler, is probably my favorite webcomic out there today. In my opinion, there isn't a better combination of artwork and storytelling on the Internet right now. Of course, my opinion is just that, mine. I'd love to hear what it is that other people enjoy.

The way those cats are drawn reminds me of the way they are portrayed in "Cats Don't Dance". I'll have to check it out soon, with it having those diverse and fun-looking characters. 8-)

As for me? Well... for about seven months now, I've REALLY gotten into the Lion King again. And I have been following a few fan comics based on the Lion King on DeviantArt. But for tonight, I'll just give a brief synopsis on two of them.

One of the fan comics that I am enjoying as of now is written and illustrated by Savu0211. Well, actually, he has a series of fan comics that revolve around Scar starting from the day he was an infant cub, to how he received his Scar (and namesake), how he came to despise his brother Mufasa and how he simply became power hungry and insane...

Another fan comic that I admire is called Trials of the Heart by Rinjapine, who is also on DeviantArt. Her fan comic focuses on Uru (who is the mother of Scar and Mufasa), and how she must endure deep heartache in her life as well as sharing it with profound happiness. It's quite tragic, actually...

Well, I'm done yaking my head of for the night.... and on a sidenote, there are many other fan comics and fanfictions out there that zero in on the Lion King universe as well. But I'm just too tired right now to get into more deph. XD

I'll have to check those out, but Lackadaisy better get their prohibition era weapons correct. If I see a M1 Thompson instead of a Model 1921 Thompson I'm gonna call them on it.

Tracy is downright ridiculous with the thoroughness of her research. I know very little about guns, but, if she screwed anything up, she most likely had a reason (even if it's just artistic expression). If you see anything, let her know. I know she's focused on realism - which is somewhat silly, because I don't think people had fur and tails back in those days.
